what exactly is VISIOLITH?

VISIOLITH is a Glass-Photo-Tile with an internal motive, which can be processed like the common known tiles and they are also designed to cover especially walls in damp locations. Each tile is a complex sole handmade product. During this process, the photo motive will be embedded in the material and results in an inseparable unit. Infiltrations of impurities like dust, water or air moisture are impossible.

The rear side of our tile is produced in such a way that excellent adhesion is guaranteed. The motive is additionally protected with a special film against ultra-purple light particles, which guarantees a long last optical quality.
Each Glass-Photo-Tile is approx. 8.00 mm thick; length and width will be produced on customers demand. The surface of the Visiolith tiles, according to its desired effect, is made out of normal or non-reflecting glass. The glass component is processed as facet cut.
The lay of the tiles takes place in same kind as common tiles, stoneware, marble or similar material by application of industrial standard adhesives, which have to be applied on complete surface of the rear side. To produce the calk, we recommend the use of a complementing joint compound, designed especially for glass tiles to prevent damage to the surface of our product.
